I am Richard Wain, the founder of Cressingham Institute of Life Coaching and a registered Educational Course Supplier - UK Register of Learning Providers. (Our provider number is UKPRN: 10023237)

The UK Register of Learning Providers is an official website designed to be used by government departments, other agencies, learners, and employers to share key information about learning providers across agencies such as, the Learning and Skills Council, the National Learning Directory, the Higher Education Statistics Agency, the Higher Education Funding Council for England and UCAS. I emphasise that the UKPLP is not a validating, accrediting or awarding body.

I have my own modest premises in Dartford, Kent. This allows me to keep costs down as I do not have to rent expensive halls or suites to run courses in. I pass these savings on to you the paying student. The Centre is about 8 minutes from the Dartford Tunnel.

I am a member of the Federation of Small Businesses and offers all fellow members and their employees 10% off the price of all seminars and courses. (This discount is not applicable if a greater discount is being offered in a Special Price).

Why train with Cressinghams Institute of Life Coaching?

1) You need to feel confident that you are receiving quality training. You can buy courses for a 'few pounds', and be given a 'Diploma'. The problem is you learn from the given texts, answer questions from those texts and NEVER work with a client, yet you pass. Can you see the major problem with these courses? So can insurance companies.

At CILC you attend an intensive attendance course, which involves a practical and verbal assessment. You will also be expected to complete tasks in the evenings and weeks during the course.

2) I keep the group size down to a maximum of 12 students. This allows for a far greater amount of personal attention from me and the other trainers. All our training is undertaken in my own premises at Dartford in Kent.

3) I do not charge high fees. I am mindful that people are sometimes changing careers so cost could be important to them; that you may be staying in a local B&B or hotel or commuting everyday. All of these things add to your costs.

4) For a whole year after completion of the course you get full back-up and personal coaching from me, (Richard Wain).

5) Ethical Standards: like hypnotherapy, coaching is still an unregulated profession. These is no official regulatory body so CILC has taken the ethical standards framework of the Association of Coaching and ensures that all our graduates work within the framework.

6) All my trainers are fully qualified as practitioners who have all spent time in business, industry or teaching before entering the world of training. Our trainers are in private practices as NLP Practitioners, Life Coaches, Business Coaches or have been Educational Tutors.

7) You may be confident that with me you will receive some of the most 'down to earth' practice based training available. I strive to maintain a very high standard in every aspect of the seminars and courses by constant revision from feed-back and new research, etc. I believe that a ‘hands on’ and experiential method of teaching is paramount to successful learning so I involve all participants in many activities during their training. The material you will be taught is gathered from years of practice - not theoretical waffle from some publication. CILC training will stand up to any scrutinisation by any potential client - there is a rigorous but transparent paper trail that can be followed to your qualification and award, (depending on the course - not all courses carry award staus).

8) My aim is that all delegates enjoy their studies as much as the trainers do when involved in teaching the seminars and courses.
