This course is designed for those who have recently qualified and feel they are ready to extend their skill and knowledge base. I am frequently asked by my graduates to let them sit in on my coaching sessions with clients. The answer is always, “No”. It is not that I am being difficult but client confidentiality precludes it.

With this desire to become a better coach I have decided to develop this course so you can avoid the pitfalls and accelerate your success and become a truly outstanding coach.

I will endeavour to show you:

• What successful coaches say and how they say it

• How successful coaches think – are you up to the challenge?

There are several key areas that highly effective coaches work on, so we will discuss these. You must understand these underlying principles. Once you have done that, you will begin to know what your clients are really looking for from you. You’ll become a more effective and successful coach, and people will not only seek you out but also pass your name to others.

• Building you – the successful and effective coach. Where are you now?

• Key coaching philosophies – your interpretation

• Expand your use of coaching tools – becoming more effective

• Coaching relationships – your styles

• How to discover and set compelling goal for you clients

• Using powerful questioning techniques based on active listening

• Creating a self-esteem generating relationship with all clients
