Much of this seminar is based on my errors and fowl-ups - there have been many. I learnt the secrets of business success using a process known as ‘trial and error’. Much of that time it was a real trial and I often felt it was an error becoming self-employed! I made some very costly mistakes - advertising in expensive glossy magazines, big ads. in the local papers, using an agency to handle a campaign, (they made as many cock-ups as me and I had to pay them to do it!).
In this seminar I will share with you are the crucial factors that determine whether your practice will sink or swim. They are the factors that most coaches/therapists ignore because they are too scared to deal with them or worse, attempt and usually fail badly, (I include me in that bit). These are things like sales, marketing, client attraction, client retention, lead generation, market domination, public relations, advertising, etc. Mention these to most coaches/therapists and it will frighten the life out of them but they are crucial to the success of any practice.

• Copywriting: choosing the right words, styles and formulas, what makes bad copy, focus, etc.
• Generating leads and using a Database: gathering leads, using the database to generate business, using the database to retain business, Joint Ventures, following-up, etc.
• Public Relations – getting a mention in the media: interviews and press write-ups, getting only good PR, website addresses, press releases, getting published, etc.
• Special Promotions: give-aways – BOGOF’s, trial session/tasters, competitions, limited offers,
• Referals: word-of-mouth, commission based, testimonials, etc.
• Testimonials: written, recorded – audio and video, photographs, strategic use of testimonials, etc.
• Selling: why doing it yourself is best, direct mail shots, email campaigns, answering enquires, etc.
• Dominating the Market – your Niche: defining domination, best in your Niche, focus on those that are going to be clients – ignore time-wasters, providing for the clients needs, become a total expert, etc.
